What a Manufacturer Tire Warranty Covers
Workmanship and materials
Covers defects in how the tire was built. Many brands replace a defective tire free of charge during the first part of its tread life.
Treadwear (mileage)
Many passenger and light truck tires carry a mileage rating. If the tread wears out before that mileage, you may receive prorated credit toward a replacement.
Uniformity
Covers ride vibration caused by the tire itself, usually only during the first portion of the tire's life.
Satisfaction trial
Some brands let you exchange or return tires within a set number of days after purchase.
Manufacturer warranties typically do not cover road hazards, or wear caused by improper inflation, alignment, or rotation. Coverage and claim steps vary by brand and tire model. For Rocky's Tire's own parts and labor warranty, see our warranty information page.
Find Your Tire Brand's Warranty

Frequently Asked Questions
Do all tires come with a manufacturer warranty?
Most new passenger and light truck tires include a limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. Treadwear (mileage) warranties vary by brand and tire model, and many performance, winter, and specialty tires do not carry a mileage warranty.
What is a prorated tire warranty?
A prorated warranty gives you credit toward a replacement tire based on how much of the warranted tread life or mileage was used. For example, if a tire wears out halfway through its mileage warranty, you may receive about half of its value toward a new tire.
Does a manufacturer warranty cover flat tires or road damage?
Usually not. Road hazards such as nails, glass, potholes, and curb impacts are generally excluded from manufacturer warranties. A few brands include limited road hazard coverage, so check your brand's warranty for details.
Can Rocky's Tire help with a tire warranty claim?
Yes. Bring your vehicle and receipt to any Rocky's Tire location and our team can inspect your tires and help you understand your options under the manufacturer's warranty.
